In 1999, two passionate individuals shared a vision of bringing international travellers closer to the authentic lives of local Thaicommunities. This vision gave birth to Thanatharee — meaning “Treasure on the River” — a unique cultural journey through Thailand’s rural heartland.

For more than two decades, Thanatharee has welcomed travellers to discover the traditions and everyday lives of riverside communities.
